Which programmes does Edistää offer?

We are primarily a Reggio-inspired school. The Reggio Emilia approach is an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education which values each child as strong, capable and resilient – rich with wonder and knowledge.

Edistää offers four age-appropriate programmes for children aged 18 months to 5 years at our preschool in Wadala West, Mumbai.

Which activities are part of every programme?

The school includes several co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in the daily timetable – dancing with Rhythmus Happy Feet and Fusion Vista Academy, gymnastics with Jungle Cubs Gym, baby yoga and music.

A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) curriculum is also part of the Nursery and Kindergarten 1 programmes – learning that grows through integration, inquiry and project-based work.

What programmes does Edistää offer?

Four programmes: Toddler Transition (1.5–2 years), Pre-Nursery (2–3 years), Nursery (3–4 years) and Kindergarten 1 (4–5 years).

How is the right programme chosen for my child?

By your child’s age at the time of admission. Our team will guide you during your school visit.

Is STEM part of the curriculum?

Yes. STEM is included in the Nursery and Kindergarten 1 programmes through inquiry and project-based learning.

Which co-curricular activities are included?

Dance (Rhythmus Happy Feet and Fusion Vista Academy), gymnastics (Jungle Cubs Gym), baby yoga and music are part of the daily timetable.

Where is Edistää Preschool located?

Edistää is at 174, Purnashanti, Nathalal Parekh Marg, Near St. Joseph Circle, Wadala (W), Mumbai 400031 – close to Matunga and Wadala station. Visits are Monday to Friday, 9 am – 1 pm, by appointment. Call +91 97697 93320.
